During his M2 "Cell Physics" at the Univeristy of Strasbourg, Jean-Yves Runser did an internship in the PECMAT team under the supervision of Prof. Loïc Jierry. He is continuing his thesis supervised by Prof. Pierre Schaaf in collaboration with the INSERM U1121 unit on the design of microstructured hydrogels via enzymatic reaction-diffusion processes. These hydrogels are intended for 2D and 3D cell culture. His doctoral work was awarded the second prize for the best oral communication at the annual meeting of GDR2088 BIOMIM (Nov. 2021), in the "Biomaterials" section.
